Shipping to Northern and Remote Canada: What to Expect

Quick answer: We ship Canada-wide, including the territories, and dispatch within 24 to 48 hours no matter where you are. Shipping is the same flat $25, free at $450 and over, with no remote surcharge from us. What changes is the carrier leg: transit to northern and remote destinations takes longer, and we do not quote delivery dates because we do not control them.

Do you actually ship to the territories?

Yes. Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut are all within our Canada-wide shipping zone, along with remote parts of every province.

Worth stating plainly because a lot of Canadian retailers quietly exclude the north, or apply a surcharge that only appears at checkout. We do neither. The order minimum, the pricing tiers and the shipping cost are identical whether you are in Toronto or Iqaluit.

Is there a remote surcharge?

Not from us. Shipping is a flat $25 per order anywhere in Canada, and free at $450 and over.

What Southern urban Northern or remote
Dispatch window 24 to 48 hours 24 to 48 hours
Shipping cost $25 flat $25 flat
Free shipping threshold $450 $450
Order minimum 2 non-Crush items 2 non-Crush items
Carrier transit time Shorter Longer, sometimes considerably

Two notes on the table. Only one row actually differs, and it is the row we do not control. And because the $25 is charged once per order regardless of size, the practical shipping cost per carton falls sharply on a larger order, which matters more in the north where reordering frequently is less convenient.

How much longer does delivery take?

We do not publish a figure, and we would treat any retailer who does with some suspicion.

Transit to remote destinations depends on the carrier network, the season, weather, and in some communities on air or seasonal road access. Those variables are real and they are not ours to forecast. What we commit to is the dispatch window; the carrier owns everything after that. Our guide to what each tracking status means covers why scans stall for longer on northern routes.

How should I order differently if I am remote?

Order larger and less often, and order earlier than you think you need to.

The economics push the same way. A single flat $25 covers any order size, and disappears at $450, which is 10 cartons at the base price. Concentrating on one line also drops the per carton price: 21 cartons of Canadian Fulls brings every carton to $40, and 50 brings it to $30. If reordering means waiting out a long transit leg each time, buying a larger quantity once is both cheaper and less disruptive. The full arithmetic is in how carton pricing works.

Who needs to be there when it arrives?

Someone of legal age with photo identification, exactly as anywhere else in Canada.

In smaller communities delivery is often to a postal outlet rather than a door, which usually makes this easier rather than harder, since you collect when it suits you. Bring ID. The rules do not relax outside cities, and minimum ages differ by province and territory, which we set out in our guide to the minimum age by province.

What if my package is delayed?

Give it longer than you would in a city before treating it as a problem.

Northern routes have genuinely long gaps between scans, so a tracking status that has not moved for several days is far more likely to be a scanning gap than a lost parcel. If nothing has changed after three business days, send us your order number and we will open an enquiry with the carrier.

Frequently asked questions

Do you ship to Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut?

Yes. All three territories are inside our Canada-wide shipping zone, as are remote parts of every province.

Is there an extra charge for remote delivery?

Not from us. Shipping is a flat $25 per order anywhere in Canada, and free at $450 and over, with no remote surcharge added at checkout.

How long does delivery take to a northern community?

We do not publish a figure. Transit depends on the carrier network, season, weather and in some places on air or seasonal road access, none of which we control.

Does the dispatch window change for remote orders?

No. We dispatch within 24 to 48 hours of payment confirming regardless of destination. Only the carrier leg differs.

Should I order more at once if I live remotely?

Usually yes. The flat $25 applies once per order and disappears at $450, and concentrating on one product line lowers the per carton price. Larger, less frequent orders cost less overall.

Do I still need to show ID on delivery?

Yes. Someone of legal age with photo identification has to receive it, and that applies everywhere in Canada.

What if delivery goes to a postal outlet instead of my door?

That is common in smaller communities and usually more convenient, since you collect when it suits you. Bring photo identification.

My tracking has not updated in several days. Is that normal?

On northern routes, often yes. Scans happen at handover points and those are further apart. After three business days with no movement, send us your order number.

Is the minimum order different outside cities?

No. Checkout requires 2 non-Crush items everywhere in Canada.

Do you ship outside Canada?

No. We sell and ship within Canada only.

Is the packaging discreet?

Yes. Orders ship in discreet packaging with no product branding on the outside, regardless of destination.
